Hilda & Royce installed Michele's pond in 1999. Located right outside the bedroom window, she gets to enjoy her pond every day of the year regardless of the weather. Michele's pond holds about 150 gallons of water. She has proven to be the "MONSTER" koi grower in the family. Her fish have achieved sizes generally only found in much larger ponds with much more expensive setups. Beau reached an amazing 12 inches from 4 in only two short seasons. Bubbles was a 29¢ feeder goldfish that is now as long and as wide as a coke can. They were moved to Dede's pond in the late summer of 2001 and we/they are very fortunate they were moved. Michele's pond suffered from a raccoon raid while Dede was "fish-sitting" and Bennett & Boo were victims of the rampage.

We have restocked Michele's pond with some more of the infamous "feeder" goldfish. We are afraid to restock with koi for fear of the dingoes of the city - those rascally raccoons.
